Atsar Simon

Managing Director

Bio

An astute construction professional, Simon brings on board over 25 years of work experience transcending contracting and consulting segments of the industry both within and outside Nigeria.

He has experience in various sectors including contractor /vendors for construction works on both building and Civil Engineering projects of various complexities, academics and corporate client organization. He Joins Ahemdoo as the Managing Director responsible for the day-to-day leadership of team’s construction and business drive.
A graduate of the Federal Universities of Technology Akure and Minna, Simon is a fully qualified and registered Quantity Surveyor with Masters of Science specialization in Project management/ Cost control. He is also a registered APMG (CPPP) professional. He teaches Project Management and Heavy/ Industrial Engineering measurement Principles to prospecting candidates for Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors professional examination Lagos state chapter.

Simon has skills in myriad aspects of contract for Civil and Building works forms of contracts with practical applications of procurement methods; contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, JCT, World bank etc); projects management and Public Private Partnership arrangement. With core competence in Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering, he is adept in various forms of construction works measurement; BoQ formats and life cycle cost management of all aspects of construction works.

His career started in 1996 at Construction Economists Partnership (CEP) Limited Lagos in association with EC Harris London, a group of construction cost consultants. While there, they developed a pragmatic framework for the cost monitoring and control of rehabilitation of buildings/ infrastructure works for all Federal government tertiary and health Institutions in South West Nigeria for the moribund PTF project. Part of the roles carried out at CEP include being the Project QS to the defunct Chartered bank head office construction, Stanbic IBTC head office construction, construction of NTA2 World bank funded Educational TV studio complex at Tejuosho Lagos from start to finish and delivering all project within budget and scope.

In 2006, he joined the defunct Oceanic banks as Head of QS Admin and Services Group, where he was responsible for effective cost management in the delivery of over 300 proposed and 100 existing branches as part of the bank’s 3-year group expansion project. He is the founding partner of SAC Integrated projects Incorporated – a design / build outfit, with branches in Liberia, The Gambia and Nigeria, that undertakes work in construction either as consultants or contractors or both. Within this group which he acts as Team Lead, they have
between 2011 to 2019 delivered Head office complex of the Central Bank of Liberia; Constructed head offices and over 10 branches of Filling stations for National Petroleum in Liberia and The Gambia; delivered Head office and Multi-purpose office complex for National and Social Securities Corporation Liberia; Engaged in Mass house housing for Premier Homes Inc. Liberia.

In partnership with Space Spectrum Limited Nigeria, Simon is Cost Consultant to Delta State government for the on- going construction of Faculty of Arts and science Complexes at Delta State University Abraka from start to completion, delivering all the projects within budget and scope.

Woji Gatah

A versatile and dynamic professional with a wealth of experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Mortgage Banking, Pension Management, Construction, Real Estate Investment Banking, Project Management, Multilateral Funding, Corporate Transformation among others.
Before joining Ahemdoo Nigeria Limited, Gatah was Chief Operating Officer of Twinamat Homes Limited, a real estate development company focused on providing effective and efficient housing solutions. His expertise covered procurement, financial management, strategic planning, project management and stakeholder management. He also provides construction and mortgage finance advisory services to various whole sale and retail clients.
He is a graduate of Quantity Surveying from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi – B.Tech (Hons); Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Institute of Capital Market Registrars, student member of Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors among other professional bodies.
He was Treasurer and Group Head, Treasury, Structured Finance and Real Estate Investment Banking, at ASO Savings and Loans Plc (2010 to 2012). While at ASO (2006 to 2012), he pioneered the Project Monitoring and Portfolio Appraisal Department of the bank, successful coordinated the transformation of the bank from a government owned financial institution to the first publicly quoted mortgage institution on the Nigeria Stock Exchange.
He has also had successful stints at ARM Pensions Managers (2005-2006), where he pioneered the business development and rapid expansion of its northern operations; as well as at Access Bank Plc (2003 to 2005).
He has attended courses and trainings, locally and internationally, that cover Treasury and Financial Management, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Asset and Liability Management, Credit Analysis, Risk Management, Business Development, Service Excellence, Leadership etc.

Tor Damian Esq

Damian, is Director of legal at Ahemdoo Nigeria Limited. Also, he is the founding partner of Christus Imperat Attorneys and is the managing partner of the firm. Damian has practical experience in litigation and corporate practice. He is skilled in corporate law and commercial law, company secretarial services, labour and industrial law, banking and finance, insolvency, taxation, real estate and property management, Arbitration, corporate governance and litigation.
Damian is a product of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where he obtained his LL.B (Hons) in 2008, he attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Nigerian BAR in November, 2009.
His career life began at the law firm of Adebayo Adeludun & Co (SAN) in Abuja in October 2010, where he joined the law firm as litigation Counsel, in 2014. Subsequently, he joined the Law firm of Tsumba & Tsumba legal practitioners as Associate Practitioner. He founded the firm of Christus Imperat Attorneys incorporated in 2017. He is on Board of several companies and serve secretary/legal adviser to many companies.

Engineer Agbor Tersoo

Tersoo holds a B.Eng. from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi in Civil Engineering. He has over 10 years post-graduation experience and is a certified Civil Engineer with both COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) and NSE (The Nigerian Society of Engineers). His experience cuts across community civil engineering project and industrial projects.

He started his career as an assistant site Engineer with Earth-Core Construction & Engineering Company Ltd (responsible for all culverts and drains construction on rehabilitation of North- Bank – Uni. Agric Road, Makurdi). Subsequently, he joined RASAS Integrated Services, as a Site Engineer on the Construction of Model Schools under TETFund projects in Rivers and Abia state during which time he was appointed Project Consultant by the Rivers State Ministry of Education on constructions and renovation of Model Schools within the state. He later worked with Lux Prime Properties Ltd as Project Engineer in their estates in Port Harcourt.
His industrial project experience started with Sinohydro Corporation Ltd as Quality Engineer (with primary responsibility of ensuring all construction works are done with specifications and standards) on a 700MW Hydroelectric Power dam project in Zungeru, Niger State. Thereafter, moved to Akoquip Global Resources Ltd as a Site Engineer on a Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Independent Power Project in Nembe, Bayelsa state. He has also worked with Kokun Integrated Services Ltd as a QA/QC Civil Engineer on Shell Nigerian Gas (SNG), Ota-Ogun State.
His recent engagement before joining Ahemdoo Nigeria as Chief Project Engineer was with DeltaAfrik Engineering Ltd as the Civil/ structural QA/QC Engineer supervising standards compliance on Nigerian Fertilizer Bulk Blending project in Kaduna.
